Exhaust coatings

Anybody used Camcoat or similar coatings for Lammy pipes? Any good and any pros and cons? Just looking for a nice tidy black finish that doesnt burn off,Thanks in advance,Andy

these do a few heatproof finishes,excellent workmanship as well.

Not used it myself but have seen a fair lads post that they use B&Q BBQ black paint with good results.?

Dont waste your money on fancy coatings for your exhaust use Wilko's barbecue paint its the best stuff I have ever used and it deffinatly does not burn of.

Plasticote barbecue paint ive had it on a JL3 for 1yr now still perfect

Plasticote barbecue paint all the way, nice satin finish, used it for years great stuff loads better than other heat proof paints.

Try these guys, they have a good choice of colours and finishes. But damn are are they expensive, they normally deal with race teams etc.

Has anyone tried powder coating the main body ,not the U pipe?

yes. aerocoat did sausages and mine with heatproof coating then powder coated gloss over it,his has clocked 2,000 miles and is still perfect mines not running yet
