Is it possible to use the Mugello centre squish head on a TS1? I realise they have more fixing points and the profile may need changing but I can't see these being a problem and do Cam Lam sell them seperate as I can't find them on their site.Thanks

Darren here from the lambretta club of south australia, i have used 2 of these heads on ts1 230,s i have built for friends,both of these motors pulled harder when using these heads, a vast improvement over reprofiled indian heads, both motors had the same spec, ported cylinders,muggy heads, 35mm tmx,jl4 pipes , v force reeds ,60mm mec cranks, both of these motors were the same , exept one had augusto box and af light flywheel the other had a variatronic, the bike with the variatronic was noticably faster, i also am running a 66mm muggy center squish head on my race rapido 200, it also worked a lot better than a modified indian head with the same volume, spec is , ported race rapido 200, muggy head , 34mm vm round slide mikuni, jl4, variatronic [weight ring removed] 60mm mec crank ,mb piston , i am also about to use another one of these heads on a wiesco 240 conversion i have started biulding, using a rapido cylinder and mec 60mm crank with yam 115 rod, also note that the muggy center squish heads for 225 have a different squish band angle than the dome on the ts1 piston , and need to be modified, it is a pain but well worth it, the 66mm version seems to be the same as asso piston dome hieght,hope this helps.
