Cracking pics ,it was the first rally I went on.Took 8 hrs to get there on a Vespa 90 Racer with a mate on a 50 Special ,we had to go the long way round because we couldn't afford the Barton ferry over the Humber.We went as Mods and came back Scooterboys

i remember many a long night helping gary build it but i thought it was about 87 ish. it used to be the matt green chop that was on the cover of scootering about 86ish gary bought it of furdie who had one of the first spurgeon sprayjobs on his gp ghosttown, which he still rides now

I think you might be right about the year, the indoor shots were at a custom car show, either at ally pally or at doncaster racecourse and that could well be about 87ish, all the others were def 1981.
