its easy to answer by saying that it should be say 1 and a 1/2 turns out or 2 or maybe 2 1/2 ,but the fact is most motors have their own prefered setting
the way i find it is to raise the tickover speed firstly....then just play around a little screwing the air screw in and out again (giving the motor time to settle with the new adjustment)
screwing it one way will weaken it and make the motor race, doing it the other way will richen it and make it boggy sounding ...
what your looking for is a medium between the two that sounds the best and most even...and when you find this turn the tickover screw back out to get a nice low tickover.

nah, ye don,t wanna do it like that you wanna do it like this! air screw out 2 turns, turn tickover screw anti-clockwise so that engine just about ticks over, then turn air screw clockwise(leaning) 1/4 turns counting how many 1/4,s it takes to stall engine, return air screw back to it,s original position (haviing just counted the 1/4 turns and make a note of this number), start scoot, then anti-clockwise(richer) 1/4 turns and count these 1/4.s till it stalls, add the anti-clockwise turns to the clock-wise turns and then half it and screw the air screw clock-wise to that figure...start scoot, turn tickover screw up to desired tickover, blip it see if it bogs(probably won,t), but if it does, turn anti clockwise a 1/4 at a time and blip.......perfect setting!
