I am now just about coming to the end of restoring it, engine rebuilt new piston barrel and clutch followed by new bearings and seals, the frame has all been powdercoated by aerocoat at Gt Yarmouth. I'm trying to keep it pretty original but i'm on a tight budget, i have replaced the loom with one from casa and changed the cables but i am sticking with 6v dc set up as it seems to be working well. it starts second kick and all the lights work fine.i will try to get some more pics up if anyone is interested.
this is the first time i restored a scooter or anything else for that matter, but i have really enjoyed it.

Fifty quid  now that is a bargain, just shows there are still some bargains out there. Would like to see where you're at now, post up some pics. Great find, well done.
