ok, the mugello is vfm , the mb barrel an elitists choice...
but which cylinder-kit is technically better : the mb ractour or the mugello v4 (both 200cc) ?
what are the power-specs like in comparison ?

cheers

I went the Mugello, yes it good vfm and it goes alright. For me the biggest draw back is the lack of tech support, couldn't get much help whilst setting it up cos' the port timings are silly.

So next time round it's an MB kit.

Spend the extra..

The MB has good port timings straight out of the box, and the Mugello big block doesn't so the choice has to be MB unless you're into a bit of porting.

Ask someone who has a V4 200, the 186 version is a pucka kit bolt on so hopefully they've followed on with the 200. As said above the previous 200/225 kits were all over the place as port times go....not good. MB 205 - nearly £700.00!

Give Martin a ring @ Chiselspeed hes always on with Mugellos of varying sizes.......

The only real difference is port timings then? How much is the Mugello? If its that much cheaper,it certainly makes sense to just get it ported to suit with a decent stage 4 spec or similar.

A Mugello 200/225 with 186 port timings would be superb.
