I am currently getting together all of the bits needed to restore my Series 2 that I recently bought.

I have only done series 3's before so I am learning the slight differences between the models as I go along.

Were drip trays fitted to Series 2's as standard and are there any other differences I should be aware of when buying bits?

apart from body work/stand everything elce can be interchanged between series 1/2/3

Any ideas on the drip tray and felt? I might add one anyway just to protect my tank from spills.

I've heard that Li125's have metal front floor runners- was this on all 125 s1 and 2's? And also I've seen some speedo faces with li125 on them and some without?

as far as i know on s1 at least metal runners 125 with rubber inserts on 150

as for speedo ..no idea ...mine just has innocenti mark and goes up to 60mph
