can anyone recomend a trusted inner tube brand and if it would be better to use a type of {slime} or not, sorry if this has had an airing already but its getting a bit confusing!. having had my fair share of blowouts back in the day, anything to give me a better chance of stopping upright has got to be worth any extra cost, cheers
how much!!!
byron showed me his innertube with a 1 inch split in it that was punctured unknown to him because it was sealed by running ultraseal in it . putting it in all my scoots now

I use ultraseal, on tubes and tubeless and it has never let me down.Changed tyres and can see that it has worked!

is it a vespa or lambretta rim ? AF and MBD sell the correct ones for each type of scooter as do other sellers altho some shops will say theres no difference

Just looked on Ultraseal site and its only £19 for a bottle of stuff big enough to do two tyres inc vat and p+p ! Gotta be worth that.

28 units in there
I think it's 6 units in a 10" scooter tyre.
So good for at least 4 wheels...
potential life-saving bargain!

MBD don't make innertubes. They sell several brands. Which one did you use?rbgaz wrote:had a mbd tube fail on me this year it ripped the valve out. i had slime in tube AND was two up,it alowed me an my freind jhonny holt too come to a nice easy stop !!!
