i have a new unused but second hand ssc 5 plate clutch. it came with all the bits but no fitting instructions. what i need to know is, how tight or how far do you tighten the four bolts that go through the clutch springs. the bolts are counter sunk allen head type and fully threaded. to me they look like they should be threaded only part way so that you know when they are tight, if you know what i mean. if i tighten the bolts up fully its like you have a clutch compressor on with it tightend right up.. also could i use a different gear oil as the plates on this clutch are from a honda nsr or simular. here is a link to the clutch. http://beedspeed.com/product_info.php?products_id=8918 cheers simon.
