changing engine mounts

whilst i have engine out thought i would change mounts are the indian ones still the better ones on the market where do you all get them from,also i have nice shiny powder coated casings heating with blow tourch wont do them any good i presume any other ways of heating is it a no no to try with them cold i do have the correct puller just always put heat in to them first

Iv'e never pulled in a pair of engine mounts cold :shock: , but if i had too I would heat the case with hot water and grease the mounts prior to pulling them in. Im not saying this is the best or only way, just what I would try. I would also wet and dry with fine grade, the engine mounts prior to greasing them to remove any high spots from the original machining... All the best 8-) 8-)

i just warm the motor with a heat gun and freeze the mounts if thats any help :)

thanks for that wheres best to get them from at the moment ,are indian mounts any good,heard casa were not all that
