i think so but why i don,t know why the tv series 1 is a frame breather some may know here or on the other side(lcgb)

Hello Biddy..you should sell that tv to fund the other one..i know a man whod take it off your hands for small money...ha ha ..by the way the tv panels were carried over to the early li series 1 , my frame breather had a pair..

Id imagine the holes were to aid cooling around the engine , as you say the tv is a frame breather so nothing to do with air intake i guess?

Yes ,vents were to aid cooling as were the vents at the rear of the frame.Carried over from the ld design i imagine.
I memory serves ,later models (non frame breather)had a different design flywheel side footboard with a scoop supposedly to draw air from inside the panel work!

Any way ,Two realy nice scooters there Biddy,
