TV1's my favourite scoot.......sheer class
was it just the tv1's that have the cut outs on front edge on panels?
Its in bits scooter club: www.facebook.com/groups/132415046859320
i think so but why i don,t know why the tv series 1 is a frame breather some may know here or on the other side(lcgb)

Id imagine the holes were to aid cooling around the engine , as you say the tv is a frame breather so nothing to do with air intake i guess?

Yes ,vents were to aid cooling as were the vents at the rear of the frame.Carried over from the ld design i imagine.
I memory serves ,later models (non frame breather)had a different design flywheel side footboard with a scoop supposedly to draw air from inside the panel work!
Any way ,Two realy nice scooters there Biddy,
Looking forward to seeing your finished TV200
