Many of you might have heard of the TV1 misterious "brown" colour, that some of the last ones had on the sidepannels and the horncasting. Well, I am after the code of this colour, if anyone can identify it for me, I would be forever thankful. I am doing an S1 replica with a Spanish S2 and it will be using that colour.

Kind regards,

Jaime the Spaniard

Hi Super!

I have never, ever, seen such kind of TV1, they are like the spanish meigas,
Maybe that colour could be the "marrone antille" Lechler 8044, but I'm not sure if it was the shade you are looking for

here´s the picture from my TV1 from the registration documents...this is how she was exported to Sweden from via Pitteri, Milano. A german also stated that the same color combination is known on other export TV1´s (it´s red and ivory). I´m not an anorak, so I did not dig deeper into this, at least this is what the owner said. btw...it was bought new in sweden by an Austrian who lived there and he took his TV with him back to Austria when he retired. 2 owners, no rust, just the exhaust downpipe is rotten. I paid 1000 Euros for it, you think that was too much?

Hi Sean, you might be right, cause the only one I've seen with the two tones, have been a sort of faded dark ocre tone...
This is a very hard task. Only guiding myself with pictures.

Tough

I think this man is correct as my mate who had the 1960 Series 2 TV175 in 1964....his girlfriend had a 1958 LD150 with this almost matt light brown colour panels....i remember it was really horrible and did the scooter no justice at all....
