Sticking my neck out here, but i would hazard a guess you might even gain some power albeit at lower revs, may lose a little at top though but not massive.
Is it the flat slide vhsh you are thinking off? Can recommend them highly

Mine,s a different set up to yours but it may be of some use to you as regarding dropping carb size, RB230, TMX35, Franspeed pipe, i dropped to a TMX30pj and havent lost any BHP or Torque [been dyno,d] but i havent gain,d any more MPG either, it does 50 MPG no matter what. Nicer ride with the smaller carb as there,s more adjustments than on the 35mmcarbon lammy wrote:running a monza 225 with 35mm tmx,dev tour.thinking of droping down to a 30mm delly anybody any idea of what kind of power drop i can expect,if any.

When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !
I wouldn't expect you to lose any power. To be fair most roadgoing set ups make nearly as much power at 1/2 throttle as full with a TMX.
