my sons doing a px engine into a vba.
can he use the original 3 speed head set or will he need a VBB four speed item.
i recon the original will work, but I,m his dad so therefore i know nothing

also any tips from anyone who,s done one of these would be appreciated.

can use the original 3 speed headset no problem

line the 1 onthe shift tube with the - on the the headset for nuetral and you will be fine. that is where mine is set at and it gets 1st to 4th no worries

is the engine a straight slot in or is there anything to look out for.

might have clearance issues with top of carb lid touching the frame - simple solution cut or run without carb top lid, also electric start motor may foul the frame on full compression of rear shock, either remove the e.start motor or cut a bit out of the frame.
