Anyone know what jets/needle/etc is in a PHBH when it comes out of the box, unmolested?
Seems dealers are a bit cagey about telling me.. Seems they want to double the price to sell me more unsuitable bits.
I've sussed a 40 slide is standard. The best answer I've got so far is that they come jetted 'rich'. Not overly helpful..

Speak to Eurocarb, www.dellorto.co.uk you can order it prejetted to what you want at no extra charge I believe.

Still about twice the price of SIP though.
I'm just curious about which atomiser/needle they come with. I'm realistic about having to get a slack handful of main jets and pilots.

There are about 20 different 28 and 30mm PHBH carbs. With adjuster screws on one side or the other, rubber mount, solid mount etc.Muttley McLadd wrote:Still about twice the price of SIP though.

Then they all have different combinations of atomiser, needle, main, choke, idle.
All for different OEM applications.

Cheers fella.. nobody else could tell me that.
I'm after a 30mil, rubber mount. I was under the impression (one dealer told me..) that the adjuster screws only come on the one side.
I'll order a handful of needles and atomisers too then

talk to cambridge lambretta , very helpfull and will send what you reqiure !!!!
The adjusters come on both sides. If there is a D in the part number it normally means the adjusters are on the right (D=destra, Italian for right).Muttley McLadd wrote:Cheers fella.. nobody else could tell me that.

If there is an S it's left (S=Sinistra, Italian for left).
