Was looking through the AF Site and noticed the RB20 parts list they reccomend has a 34 delly. I brought my RB kit from them but it came with a 30 delly, I didnt think much about it at the time but was wondering what other people were running on there RB? I did try a 34 on there once but it was chucking out loads of juice out of the carb and was verry boogy so i went back to the 30.
So what are other people using, i think theTMX are quite popular?

I,ve not used a delly on mine but i know of people that swear by the 34mm, i,ve used both the TMX35 and the TMX30 pj on my RB230 and i prefare the 30mm, ive had it dyno,d with both carbs on, no loss of power useing the smaller carb [27.8 bhp] if i were you i,d stick with the smaller carb on the RB20, i dont think you,ll gain by going bigger, you,ll just empty your pockets

.

But aren't you using a "touring" exhaust?

Had an NK mid and if thats there touring then in dread to think how high the race revs..

Now got a franspeed race which i picked up from Wicksteed, like new for £125....

far more usable...

Ah, I had it in my head that you'd switched from race to tour.
TMX27 worked great on my Imola and was good on fuel [55mpg] so maybe worth a shot on the RB20.
