plastic flywheel fans

are these the fans being modified to fit on indian flywheels?

That fan looks very similar to the one on my electronic kit that I got off Readspeed...... 8-)

agreed very similar. this pic is a bit clearer showing 4 metal lugs compared to 3 on the readspeed one though.
this topic came up a while ago but i can't seem to find it through the search facility?

The shown fan with the 4 lugs comes of the Piaggio 125/150 AC two stroes (Skipper etc.) an can be used on machined SIL flywheels. You also have to modify the fan even if you use the high indian crowlings - or modify the crowlings (I did). I use such a conversion on my ts1 engine for 5 years now, no problems- and better air flow!

The is also a fan with 3 lugs avaiable (piaggio sfera), wich i would prefer for use on the AF flywheel.
