"I have just got my px200e non batt from being sprayed. I have rebuilt it and it starts just fine. But i dont have any lights or indicators. Only the horn works. I have checked all the wiring connections under the horn cover at the regulator and at the cdi box. Everything seems in order. Any ideas anyone? There is an extra black wire that comes from the stator plate into the junction box. But there are only 2 wires coming from the main frame. A blue and a green. This is an imported vespa from Spain. Now this black wire that doesn't connect was like this before the respray. All connectors male and female are clean. This has me stomped. Any help appreciated"

Anyone know what to do or check?

If the horn's working then there is definately power out of the stator, I'd suspect that one or more earth wires have been disconected during the spraying and either not been put back on or the paint is preventing a connection. With the indicators, as well as the earths at each light unit you also have the pin that locatate and locks the panels on which also conducts the power for the rear indicators. Check that there is no paint on the pin and that the contact in the frame hasn't gor overspray.

Here's his reply...

"Got it working mate. Had to run an earth from the regulator to the black wire on the junction box. Took out the tank and the loom looked fine. A mystery mate. But working now anyway".
