sorry if this has been posted previously, just noticed this from CamLams homepage
"First exclusive pictures of the new engine casing to be manufactured by Tino.
The casings will be made for a larger 50mm wide webs (standard is 40.5mm), with between 110 to 120mm (10mm wider then standard) diameter webs. the special crank will eliminate twisting totally. The large crank will give a great deal less vibration.
A Super Monza cylinder is to be made exclusively for the casing as this will take advantage of the massive transfer areas within the casings and a large reed intake area giving great horsepower. This increase in crankcase area helps performance vastly, and also reduces primary compression, giving better volumetric efficiency.
A version will be made which allows all current Lambretta cylinders to be fitted, a blanking plate can be fitted over the reed area to allow for standard Lambretta cylinders. As above the increase in crankcase area will highly benefit all existing high performance kits on the market, wether SuperMonza, Monza, TS1 or RB kits. "
anyone know anymore about this developement ? is this why we're seeing a delay in the launch of the Super Monza conversion ?

Very Interesting development. Fantastic that we still have such development taking place on our 40 year old Italian shopping trolleys!

Looks great but if it's anything like the Super Monza then we'll all be drawing a pension before it's available.
