Mag housing bearing "issues"

I'm rebuilding an Li 150 engine with a Mugello 186 Ultimate top end. I changed the Mag housing bearing for a NU2205E as recommended in Sticky's book. It's the one with the plastic cage instead of the usual metal cage I've used before.
During fitting some of the rollers came out, so I thought I'll stick some grease in the cage while I could...
Bad idea. Now the rollers don't sit nicely in the plastic cage and I'm in the process of trying to get them out and remove the grease before I can get the crank in.
Tomorrow, I might heat up the housing a bit to make the grease and cage a bit more pliable.
Anyone come across this? or know of a smart fix?

Cheers, Nigel

Hi,sounds like it got a bit stuck when you tryed to put the bearing in the casing and is now damaged, dont take any chances ,just heat up the casing again (i put mine in the oven)and knock the bearing out and then fit a new one .
