Hi folks, this is the first set of drop bars i have fitted so have come across a few problems but this one surprised me , the throttle and gear rods are far too short for the drops ,i can't even get the throttle pulley on never mind line it up with the pin hole
seller said" fitted dozens of these never had a problem "
do you need longer rods??

Are they scootrs made drops? I fitted some SX type drops to my Lammy and apart from reducing the area where the brake housing is mounted they fit and work a treat. There maybe some dodgy copies doing the rounds. Pete
standard rods were fine in mine

Standard Indian rods were to short in my Indian style ScootRS GP drops aswell. I had to re-drill and pin.

had a similear problem with mine and it was due to fact that the steel on the drops was to long where the throttle and gear change tube go on measure that length against a standard set or you need ive got a set of sx bars i can measure
