Got this stub for a Franspeed for my rb, its not a good fit and theres quite a bit of play. question i have is, are the 2 grooves in the stub for o-rings and if so where can you get them from? Also if i dont use them will silicone or similar do the job as theres quite a gap?

Think they done away with the stub that had the o rings as you had to replace them every time you took exhaust off.

What to do, what to do? Should really go for the stub but could just buy 4 rings as how often do i take the pipe off? Do you need 2 though, as there are 2 grooves? Also the one item on his site that doesnt have a buy button is yes you guessed it the stub...
Typical, will buzz him tomorrow.

Not sure best to call Andy Francis as he makes the franspeed and sells them. I think they need to be heat proof though?

These O rings were rubbish from the start and have not improved. I use acetoxy clear silicon sealant every time I remove my exhausts even on proper slip joints. Never had a problem.
You shouldn't have to pay £20 for a new stub due to a design fault.
