Don't know if someone's done it before, but this is me new high level brake light. Just a cheap three quid rear grill from SR that I polished up and widened the slots in the grill so as to fit the LEDs.

Great idea Dapper, like it a lot..now fettle yourself an LED in that there GP backlight and you will look great from behind... ...

That's a great idea. The more the dumb car drivers can see of you the better. I've been blessed to not have be plowed into from behind, but I've had some VERY close calls sitting at a light.

Have you considered making up a kit and selling the rights to a Viet based company? Might as well, cause you know they'll be knocking off the idea in no time flat.
