Had this a few years as always liked the shape. It ran shite when i got it but whipped the motor out and had it a bit modernised so im not one of these old duffers holding the traffic up at 45mph.Jerome at Readspeed done a center plug head and some very slight porting.Ripped some guts out of the exhust and rejetted the standard carb.Ive now fitted a 25 Dellorto instead. It actualy goes ok for an old 50`s 150 and such a smooth motor, originaly was gonna stick a P2 lump in it but when i heard it,just couldnt do it.

Well done, that's cool - I've always wanted to do a mild tune on my VS5. I remember someone did a Mikuni conversion a few years ago.

And is that just rubber hose coming off the stock, stubby manifold!?!

PS - sorry to be picky, but Gran Sport, not Grand Sport. ;-)

Mine is a one off and they called it a grand sport VS6 ;) . Its a piece of radiator hose, thats it.Runs better but lost torque and power due to longer manifold.I want to make another manifold to hold a P200 carb and airbox which would be better. That to can be a hose on the stub then fixed to the casing like the standard airbox. If you knock one up in the meantime, bare me in mind ;)
