My new Scoot

This turned up from sunny Spain this morning. As you can see it needs a little work but the bodywork is sound and the frame straight.
I'm going to leave the paintwork pretty much as is just cut it back and treat the rust spots. I'll get my mate to sort the crease in the legshield.
Got some TV175 series 2 forks, links and hub to go in and a GT186 motor already built. Going to upgrade that to a TS1 240 in a Jet casing as soon as I have time to build it. I may even put a seat cover on it :D

Need some rear runners if anybody has some for sale or swop?

Many thanks to Ian(soullad) Jaime(supereibar) and Frankie I'll post some more pics as I get on with it.

As the one in charge of shipping the scoot, I can only say I am super sattisfied with the shipping company.
I am glad you like it Al, I have commented to Frankie about it and he was pleased as well. The wonderful thing about the scoot is the condition the bodywork is. That scoot was actually mine, but I knew that Frankie was craving a GP (they dont really do it for me) so I suggested he could trade this scoot for it.

All the best with your new travel companion!!!

J.

P.S: Paul, was Al originaly just a vespa man? hehehe
