I seem to remember their being a thread on these boxes, they seem to been machined wrongly and pose problems when shimming them up. This issue could of been resolved by now though.

Hi
I fitted a Kace manufactured li150 gearbox supplied by Beedspeed into a rebuild I did recently.
Have to say not a quality fit
The cluster was tight on the lower bearing face and this needed fannying about with to make it good.
The second or third loose cog, cant remember which was tight on the layshaft and would jam this also needed work to make good
At the end of the day it fitted and works well, but the conclusion I came to was that for the £20 or £30 saved I would only fit Innocenti,Sil or Spanish in the future.
These fit straight in with no mucking about.
Hope this helps.
