Hi all, is it possible to slightly increase the top/cruising speed on a 125 runner without fitting a piston/barrel kit. Im not to concerned about accelleration. I was thinking about fitting a 172 kit until i read al the posts about the high fuel consumption.:)
Cheers Dave

Had a Mk1 Piaggio Hexagon which shares the same engine as your Runner. It would sit happily all day at 60 mph and would stretch to 65mph and retain half-decent fuel economy. Keep the beast standard chap. 8-)

i had a drag with 172 kit 25mm carb and scorpion pipe would do about 14 miles per ltr at fast motorway speed and 19mpl on normal running around so id say that was good my ts1 did around 8mpl at the same motorway speeds and 10 mpl at normal riding speeds i could get from cheltenham to wollacombe the long way on less than a tank
