Evening guys.... after fitting M/cycle levers(larger adjuster) to my Beedspeed drops and having very little pannel work on the project LI Cutdown, it got me thinking could i fit a M/cycle clutch cable which would give much longer life.....any experience/tips/recommendations/pitfalls on doing this...???

Might be a little overengineered... My 500 bike's clutch cable looks like battleship rope when compared to that of the lammy standard. However they still snap at the weak points...... I find that the scooter cable lasts as long.
Still I carry spare cables for my bike too, and when you carry one of them, they are a little bigger.

What's wrong with the Lambretta one?
Joking aside.. do you snap many?

Thanks Guys, yeah...Horses for courses i suppose but i,ve had a couple of bikes myself and the cables never seemed to be a worry the way they are with scooters, i just thought that there was room for a little improvement.....a well fitting routeted/lubed/adjusted M/cycle cable would last longer than most parts do on a Lammy

...i just think its got to be an improvement!!!!

I hear what you're saying. But.. have you tried one of the clutch cables from Broadsword's? The outers are a square section, rather than round ones. It doesn't bunch like one of the cheap sh1t ones.
I can't remember the last time I had an inner break - apart from when it had been fitted in a cack handed manner
