I am building a Series 2 that I bought in bits. I have a 2 hole brake pedal switch fitted, but the Carello rear light unit has three terminals in it. It has two terminals side by side (for the pink & black wires ?) and a third terminal above them. Is the third terminal an earth terminal ? It is a one bulb unit i.e. the normal 21w/5w bulb fits and there are no other bulb holders in it. The loom only has two wires running to both the brake light switch, and the rear light.... I have always earthed the rear light unit via one of the rear light bolts in the past.


Any ideas ?????
