Can anyone identify this carb? A friend has bought it on eBay and thinks he has a Mikuni TMX35, although the description said Mikuni style. It looks different to any TMX35 I've seen, so I'm wondering what it is :?

Its a mikuni tm35 (not tmx) I had one set up on my Ts1 and to be honest found it better than the tmx I have fitted now!
Although im happy with the tmx it seems I had the tm set up better!

Definately not a TMX. Looks like a TM 34 or 36 as below

i had similar id problem on carb i got from auto jumble, apparently the tmx has a d shaped slide, the tm has a flat slide i.e the front and back are parallel, while i'm on ,just about to fire my new engine up,rapido 250, tm 32,scorpion exhaust, the carb came with a 48 pilot,270 main, and no6 slide, anyone suggest a safe starting point for the jetting,i'm thinking 25 ish for the pilot and 330 ish for the main, cheers all.
