Has anyone had any success using the power jet on a TMX30 on a TS1 or is it "standard" to blank off the power jet and up the main jet?
also when blanking off the power jet what do you use to do this?

any help or advice greatly recieved and appriciated, thanks

I have this set-up. I just disconnected the PJ and blocked the tube comming from the bowl with a bolt. I have an airfilter and my jettings are: 22,5 pilot, needle (standard) on second clip, 270 mainjet.

Cheers, Mike.

I think for the powerjet to work properly on this carb it needs extending further into the stream so it operates earlier. I've had trouble setting these up before and have taken the easy way and blocked it off.
I think with realatively low reving engines such as we all ride the powerjet needs to be much further into the throat of the carb like the ones Camlam sell.
If you do decide to block off the PJ an easy way is to push a small ball bearing into the tube or if you don't have one a pilot jet with the hole blocked with solder. This means you aren't doing anything permanent.

I agree with Diablo, I couldn't get one to work on a TS1 either, I now have a Dellorto with the CamLam type and it works perfectly.
You can block the pj using a screw with the head cut of and a slot cut into the top with a jar hacksaw.

No, same air, same carb, all working without pj, same as us in the UK ;-)

Don't know about fuel economy on TMX30 as it was never set up correctly, but I get 10 miles/ltr easily with the Dellorto and powerjet.
