Roadrunner what exhaust are you running? Have you gone from airbox to ramair? You will need to re-jet if changing the air intake on an engine.

Have a look here for a few ballpark delly setups inc a 175 kit.

50mm big bore exhaust and the 28mm dellorto just has the plastic bellmouth on and i am getting fed up of cleaning the oil residue of the side panel so i got the ram air filter and am a bit worried it may seize.will have a look on the link you stated and thanks for your help..

118 is a huge main jet for that set up. Does it rev right out in 2nd and 3rd without choking up?

did a tidied up iron 175 for a lad, 28 dellorto, 42 clubman. 108 main, 48 pilot, 70 choke, av264, x7 top notch, remote filter, 300 float jet and needle set up, light flywheel, standard GP gearbox, 18/47 (5.2) goes really well. the carb was from the breakers, the pipe was his mates, and the top end was a bored out indian GP 150, with an e-bay head, cost him about 130 quid all in ! never missed a beat in three years! (ive only got a 122 main in my rapido 225! 145 main is MAHOOSIVE! )

done a full restor on my indian gp 150.new barrel and piston and head at 175.full grit blast and paint job, lambretta red.looks well nice but this carb is a problem.it ran good when first built then it was running shite after 3 yrs but only 500 miles in that time,,turns out the piston rings were the wrong ones for the piston so a new piston and rings sorted it,,,thinking of taking it to leads on the dyno to sort it once and for all ...kev

when you say a 175 kit, it could mean anything, my set up on a tuned 175/li150 barrel was 180 exhaust 125 transfers and 165 inlet, with a 30mm phbh it had an av 266, main 128, cant remember the needle tho, 40 slide filed to suit, running with a pm pipe
