http://www.stahlheaders.com/Lit_Rod%20Length.htm

this is all to do with conrod length and the effects it has on torque...bearing in mind that lots of folk go for 110/116 rods when building big cc stump pullers...

thats an easy and interesting read. narrowing the transfers for torque is something ive not heared of before, its on a barrel with big ports rather than a commuter bike engine like ours but interesting to get a snapshot of the pros and cons without being bored shitless with reems of theory.

its one thing getting to understand these things but it would be interesting to see some of it put into practice and see the before and after results.
