Front Drum Brake Knock.................

think it was on here that someone posted a thread about this problem and it was suggested that a shim could be fitted around the lug on the fork link where it fits in the U shaped bit. Had a quick check today and think that a rear brake pivot bush can be fettled to fit and stop this annoying knock ;)

The main reason the backplate clunks is the two inner axle nuts are not tight enough. If when tightened the hub locks, add spacers(clutch shaft ones will do) to the inside .Fit the hub and tighten the outer nuts up and the backplate should be solid.
