Has anyone had to use (and find) a gearbox shim smaller than 1.8 mm? Took my jet 200 engine apart and found there wasn't a shim in there.Gears sit proud of the layshaft,tried a different hub bearing and endplate but still too tight when tightened down.All runs free with no shim.
Any ideas, or just try and reduce the 1.8 shim further?
