You'll need to post a LOT more details to enable anyone to help. For a start, what are the symptoms? Choke on or off? hot/cold starting?

Does it have a filter fitted? What jets/needle/slide fitted in the carm?

The reason is that it coiuld be a million things and we need to narrow it down a bit ;)

The lights and the ignition are seperate systems but your dim lights could indicate a poor earth maybe.
