been running about this year on the Vespa210, Lammie not done much at all. I had ordered an SSC 5 plate Jap Clutch conversion for it. Main reason being that I wanted to try out something a bit different, after all I was returning to 18/47 on the Italian GP box as the 19/46 combined with my 18st +, Monza 225, and Franspeed Pipe was not a great combination, perhaps if I was doing Motorway miles, but I'm not and I wanted the use of all 4 gears.

Must say that when I ordered the clutch it arrived pretty promptly, 47t version, and with a spare set of plates, still in original wrappers n' labels so I won't be stuck for which ones to get for replacements if ever necessary.

Easy fit to the bike, no need for compressor as the new kit comes with a top plate drawn down by 4 allen bolts. The centre of the top plate also spins, so reducing friction on the plunger. Replaced clutch cable at same time, clutch action is not feather light but certainly perfectly acceptable, clutch engages well on the lever, no drag at all, pretty much how a clutch should be, no surprises. only 40 or so miles on it but pleased so far.

The bike is also transformed now gearing wise, ok, it revs out in 4th but I'm shiftin at a fair lick faster than most guys, but importantly I can utilise all 4 gears with ease and no need to thrash 3rd to get 4th to pull effectively. well chuffed.
next winter may look at putting indian GP box in, but its no necessity any longer.
