I have the Lambretta Li150 Series 1 Framebreather and the Brake Pedal is held on using a long 6mm screw as opposed to the circlip. I don't know whether this was a normal production method or if it has been modified using the Grease nipple hole for the 6mm screw, the problem I have is when the 4 coil return spring is fitted it prevents the Brake Pedal from going onto the support shaft more than half way, so when the Brake Pedal is depressed it tends to tilt onto the 6mm screw and touches the footrest rubbers, if it is possible to get a 2 coil spring that would probably solve the problem, I would appreciate any help or suggestions to overcome this problem.
