Hi all i've just changed a master cylinder and the new one has a front brake light switch fitted, is it possible to wire it into my loom and if so how do i do it? It has a green and a brown wire and the loom is a DC one. Cheers for any tips or advice in advance Pete.
i ran a piece of two core black speaker wire down to the brake light swith for the rear brake and wired it in parelel
i dont use the rear brake so i thought it was important to have a brake light

Find a permanent live in the headset (prob. brown though i'm not familier with DC looms) connect one side of the switch to it. Run a new wire (pink if you care) from the new switch to either the rearlight stop lamp connection (usually pink) Or to the output side of the brake switch (usually pink)10 inch Terror wrote:Hi all i've just changed a master cylinder and the new one has a front brake light switch fitted, is it possible to wire it into my loom and if so how do i do it?
