noises from ScootRS front disk..Any ideas??

Front brake has started making noises under braking, it's not a metal on metal, and if it was a car I'd think it was dust. Doesn't seem to have any effect on braking, and I think I can 'feel' the noise also through the handlebars (but this could be psychological!).

I ride sports bikes also, so my riding style tends to use the front brake a lot.

But I bet it's only done a total of 1500 kms in total.

I've blown it all out with compressed air, and there is life left in the pad.

Anybody got any ideas? I'm stumped.

Pad "chatter" ? May sort it with a thin smear of "Coppaslip" on the piston side of the pad.

Alternatively why not enquire at Scootrs Customer Services..............................?

according to the original WSM, new pads are 5mm thick. New pads should be fitted when the old pads reach 3mm
