Who can repair an original AC electronic stator???

Who is the best to repair my original electronic stator, there is no spark, I've done the checks in Sticky's book (following original colours) and the LT coil looks suspect, trouble is the replacements available have a different centre size (less plates).

Alternatively are the LT coils of points systems the same???

Any help would be appreciated, it's a resto and I'd like to get it on the road again.

Cheers

Richie

Afraid not, the electronic has many more turns of much thinner wire to produce a higher voltage.
Out of interest what readings are you getting off it.

Beedspeed are good at repairing electrnic ignitions, and not over expensive.

read my thread about rewinding stators for dc and you will understand

my scoot stays with a gentle prod of kickstart and runs fine , they will rewind to ac as well or just LT coils

Thanks for the info, sent it to Reedspeed in the end, looks a good job.
