evening,

just a quckie, any idea why my rear brake light won't work...

any known issue's?????

brand new brake light switch, new mb led rear light unit

any power out of switch ,does light work if you touch switch wires together , any ppower at rear light to harness connection?

led light works just don't get a brighter stop light..

i've noticed underneath were the brake pedal touches the brake switch it arcs/ sparks when pedal is depressed :shock:

Definately do what Mark suggested, it seems you have power at the switch but it shouldn't be sparking across to the pedal :shock: Sounds like the switch is fooked and is shorting out internally.

had this one,

its a crap switch as a bodge i put a bleed nipple rubber over the switch pin and its been fine since.
mine was from MB as well

its a sil item from beedspeed, which replaced the marshmellow scootrs one.. the sil item is quite well made considering!!!!!

kicked her over, lights on, then touched the two wires NOTHING

Not very good with electrics, but what would the next step be?

check wires with multimeter?

i take it the brown wire is ok as this feeds the back light, it must be the pink wire i take it...

any takers..
