carb rubber

just building a bike for a customer and having some clearance problems with the carb hitting the tank.
its an rb motor with a tmx35 carb and a mrb mounting rubber
the top of the carb is hitting the tank and the easiest solution would be a slightly longer inlet rubber rather than modifying the tank
does anyone know anyone who does a slightly longer inlet rubber ??

I've had Malossi ones that are slightly longer, otherwise maybe try the hose option [as supplied by camlam], but i do prefer a ribbed rubber

I have a similar problem with a PHBH onto a scootRS type manifold & rubber.
The internal ribs in the rubber are a mis-match with this combination so the carb and manifold are metal to metal but only one rib is in position. Anyone know the origins of the hose that's used and cut down then re-sold at a huge margin ?

I trim about 5 mm off the scootrs inlet manifolds for that very reason.

i used a second hand top radiator hose from a 110 defender on my last ts1  best bet is to got to a local hydrolic hose company they have various bore sizes thickness's and strengths some are almost solid make sure the POL resistant (petrol, oil, lubrication) a little ofcut will cost you a donation to the tea fund i used this method when i was rebuilding a dragster and wanted some hose
what size carb and manifold stubs do you have ?
also use tee bolt hose clamps as they are wider ,better fitting and dont pinch the hose in one area heres an example of what i used altho mine were only 20mm wide
