Anyone either seen first hand or using the alloy tubeless rims sold by lambretta REstore in doncaster? They seem ok price wise (£50- something each), just not heard of them before and thought there might have been a bit more info around.

Been around a few years. I believe they were also the ones MB were involved with and dropped. They're split rims with a large O ring. Not convinced by them myself.

Thanks, thought there must be something not right about them.

The worry I have about these is not the fact they're split with an o ring, but they are till only held together with 5 fixing points. Look at the Cam Lam ones, more fixing points. And although they claim these are born out of karting, they are another very different size. The forces on these points are immense with a fully inflated tyre and leave themselves to distort, especially on our pothole ridden roads. Not a risk I was willing to take when I looked into these.

Can anyone on here actually comment on these tubeless rims first hand. I guess some people must be using them? I'd be keen to get some feedback from someone who is actually running a set.

Anyone?

Cheers,

Matt

Somebody was and had no hassle with them at all but cant remember who, will look at my messages.I was interested in them aswell but heared a few bad things but none by anybody who has actually used them.Just checked my messages and found out it was "Red" who has used them for a few thousand miles so a good person to give "genunie" feedback rather than guesswork.

As opposed to the SIP ones which seem to have gone completely off the radar.
