Saw one in Ireland a couple of weeks ago. Sounded fantastic but the owner said it had a maximum tank range of 40 miles. Not exactly practical.

I thought the first batch were disowned by a tuner of some repute, then found there way onto other dealers. Now awaiting a 2nd (right) batch...?
This may or may not be bol**ks and should be treated with a pich of salt unless someone can confirm.....

2 in France, engines # 10&11, one on the road ( missing panels from paintshop) and a 3rd one ordered
cracking the engine for the first time (not jetted)
the other one on the way....(still waiting from my hi-comp heads -Tino said me they be there....in september....and twin exhaust on the making ( but the running in with Charlie's 2 in 1)

That sounds remarkably bad. My RS250 (tuned to about 70hp) was very good on petrol - when it wasn't doing 12k everywhere.
I'm only guessing, but these Targo 250s are fitted with powervalves, aren't they, for kind of money they're being sold for? Running below 7k, a twin shouldn't be particularly thirsty. These are only 30odd hp, surely?
