sr186 piston
hi guys just wondering if i can bore a cast iron 175 barrel out and fit a sr186 piston without messing with port timimgs ? are the pistons the same apart from size ??

Assuming its a "standard" SR186 piston (to fit an LI length rod) there should be no problem.
There was some talk a couple of years back of the taper on the SR pistons being wrong which lead to a rattle at times- didn't affect performance though.
