is there anyway to wire up a non battery electronic stator [sil] to work with a battery or any way round it .any help would be great . 8-)

Yes and No is the simple answer. :frog:
You need to have a regulated DC supply coming from somewhere to charge the battery with, and it depends what you got with your electronic kit.

Have you got a 5 pin regulator fitted?.... like one of these

if so simply take the +ve and -ve feeds to the battery, and then wire the remainder from the battery. :mrgreen:

Otherwise you'll need to get a bridge rectifier on the AC to supply your battery (can be had for a couple of quid from Maplin) :ugeek:
