LTH clutch

Hello,
Just got back from a European tour.
Had a few problems with a new LTH clutch and thought it might have been my semi hydraulic setup causing the issues. However, I changed this setup to a normal cable setup and the issue still occurred.
Basically the bite point on the clutch seems to move as the scooter gets hotter. So much so that I can have the cable loosened so much that there is hardly any clutch when pulled right in, but as the scooter gets hotter the bite point drifts to the extreme where a slight touch on the clutch lever engages the clutch and it also sometimes slips as the clutch seems to be engaged all the time.
Is this an issue anyone has come across, do you have any suggestions for a resolution?
The only thing I can think of is that there isn't enough space in the crankcase and as everything gets hotter it all expands and the brass plunger is activating on the clutch.
Wouldn't this occur with other clutches too though?
Does anyone know what Honda clutch the LTH one is based on?
I have a 2mm gasket that I might try to see if this helps with the space situation.
