dim lights

hi all have very dim lights its 12vol all the bulbs are proper ,

Dopes brightness of lights increase when the engine is revved. if not is probably faulty regulator??

hi yes the lights brighten up when reved , have changed regulator, still the same when reved up. the back lights are dimer than the front .

Multi meter on yellow wire to check impedence back to earth, if it's too high then most likely an earth wire loose on the stator, but could still be somthing else causing the fault.

got it sorted took the head set of had a look round dident see anything dodgy put it back on and every things working fine . :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hate to shatter your illusions, but if you took the headset off and found no fault, then replaced the headset and it worked. There is clearly a fault with the connections in there.
It will come back to haunt you!
